Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge:

This rope bridge was used in order for fishermen to cast their nets over the side of the rail in hopes of catching Salmon. The bridge originally had one single hand rail, and the slats were widely spaced making the bridge extremely dangerous. Below are pictures of what it used to look like, what it looks like now, as well as a video of myself and my friends walking across the bridge.

I will say that I felt completely, 100%, safe walking across this bridge...that is until Adam decided to be funny and jump on it a "wee" bit. If you ever come to Northern Ireland, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a must see! Not only was the bridge amazing, but the view was spectacular from every angle.
